After two days of postponements, the deciding game of the Faulkner-AUM series was finally played at Harrison Field on Monday. And for the Eagles' Matt Creel, it was certainly worth the wait. The senior right-hander allowed only three hits and at one point retired 13 Warhawks in a row as the Eagles captured the Southern States Athletic Conference series with a 7-1 victory.

The Huntingdon women fell behind in the first half and couldn't recover Wednesday night against LaGrange. LaGrange led by 13 at the half and knocked off Huntingdon 90-80 at Roland Arena. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Lady Hawks (15-9, 10-5 Great South Athletic Conference). LaTerial Williams and Raven Prater each scored 18 points to lead Huntingdon. Williams also had eight rebounds and five steals. Morgan Crawford added 14 points and five steals and Patricia Pickens finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
